A Few Things to Know Before You Book
- LINEN POLICY: BRING YOUR OWN
Because this is an authentic, off-grid retreat, guests are required to bring their own linens.
- FLEXIBLE CLEANING OPTIONS (DIY OR FEE)
Because our cabin is remote, professional cleaning travel fees are exceptionally high ($350). To save you money, we pass the choice to you:
* Option 1 (DIY Clean): Complete our thorough Pre-Departure Checklist (dishes, surfaces, bathroom, sweeping, and mopping) using the provided supplies for a $0 cleaning fee.
* Option 2 (Pay the Fee): Opt out of cleaning and pay the actual cost of bringing a cleaner out.
- CELL SERVICE: Cell service is limited to non-existent. You will need to print or download all maps and check-in guides before your trip.
- WIFI: Available but limited.
- UTILITY OUTAGES: Due to our remote location, weather or other conditions can cause temporary power or water outages. No refunds are issued for natural disruptions, so please plan and pack accordingly.
- TRASH: There is no garbage collection. You must haul 100% of your trash, food, and drinks away with you when you leave ($50–$100 fee for anything left behind).
- SOLAR POWER: No high-wattage devices (hairdryers, electric coffee makers, irons, steamers) are allowed. They will blow a fuse ($50 fee) and leave you without power.
- WATER: Water is hauled in by hand and is precious. Conservation is required, and absolutely nothing but toilet paper can be flushed."
