Woodpile Cabin Rules

Welcome to our off-grid cabin. Please follow these rules to ensure the cabin stays in working order and to avoid extra fees.

ARRIVAL

Check-In: After 12:00 PM. Please sign the waiver on the kitchen table immediately.

Water: Conserve strictly. Bring your own drinking water; well water is at your own risk.

Solar Power: NO high-wattage devices (hairdryers, irons, coffee makers). Doing so will blow a fuse, leave you with no power for the rest of your stay, and may result in a fee. Do not use a generator without prior permission.

Wi-Fi: Network name is Guest (no password required).

CABIN & LAND GUIDELINES

Garbage & Food: PACK IT OUT. Take all trash and food home with you.

Pets: You are entirely accountable for your pets' conduct and well-being. Kindly pick up after them at once, both indoors and outdoors. You are held fully accountable for any charges or compensation arising from your pet distressing or injuring wildlife, livestock, or riders. 

Smoking/Fires: No smoking/vaping inside.

Fireplace/Pit: Ashes must be cold before moving to the pit. Never leave an outdoor fire unattended or burning overnight; it must be cold before leaving the site. Check US Forest Service fire restrictions before any outdoor fires.

Quiet & Respect: Please be respectful of the land, neighbors, and local wildlife. Keep noise to a minimum at all times; loud music, shouting, and disruptive behavior are strictly prohibited. 

Shooting: Absolutely NO shooting or firearms on the property.

Sprucedale Ranch: We are strictly independent. Do not enter their property, use their dumpsters, or go to their ranch for any help, guest services, or questions regarding the cabin.

Gates & Driving: Always leave gates exactly as you find them. Stay on established roads; do not drive in pastures.

DEPARTURE (By 10:00 AM)

Check-Out: Please leave yourself ample time to clean before 10:00 AM.

Cleaning Checklist:

[ ] Wash, dry, and put away all dishes.

[ ] Sweep/mop floors and wipe down surfaces.

[ ] Clean bathroom (toilet, sink, shower).

[ ] Ensure fireplace ashes are cold, then move to an outdoor pit.

[ ] Complete the final Pre-Departure Cabin Cleaning Checklist on the wall by the China Cabinet.

FEES & EMERGENCIES

Fee Schedule: Cleaning: $350 if not cleaned to standard 

Garbage/Food left behind: $100

Excessive water use: $100

Blown solar fuse: $50
